SCAFFOLDING SAFETY INSPECTIONS

Scaffolding must be inspected following installation, and every 7 days thereafter as well as any events that may jeopardise the install such as a weather event or collision or other damage caused to the scaffolding. Tap n Act from Axsi allows you to schedule these inspections, linking them to our RFID tags which can be placed at critical points where inspections must be conducted.

Further interim inspections can be scheduled for your site staff to check the safety of your scaffolding before work starts each day as well as recording any remedial actions needed to make it safe after any changes or weather events.

If you are a scaffolding company, you maybe interested in our white label version of Tap n Act by Axsi, to sell the inspection system as an additional service to your offering.

USES

With templates designed to aid you in the process, the system allows you to create bespoke inspections for your scaffolding install.

  • Inspections after install
  • Scheduled inspections at no more than 7 day intervals
  • Pre-work inspections each day
  • Adhoc inspections after weather or other events

INSPECTION SCHEDULES

A highly flexible inspection system that allows you to schedule your inspections and ensure you are always up-to-date and your inspection records are secure. Attach our bespoke RFID tags to the critical points on your scaffolding where you want checks to be made, create actions at each point for the inspector to check and report results, be thoseĀ  data such as measurements or photographs.

The system allows you to create multiple inspection schedules for different sites, and within each site so that you not only control the periodic schedules for one site, but all the areas you are working. It allows you to conduct adhoc inspections which can happen after a weather event so that you ensure that you have checked and recorded the fact that the scaffolding is safe to use before your team restarts their work.

Schedule inspections to meet the 7 day period you have to conduct to comply with HSE guidelines, but also schedule them for pre-start of working day each day to ensure nothing has changed. Each scheduled inspection can be different, while the regulatory inspection will be in-depth, daily visual inspections can be carried out and recorded.

During an inspection the qualified person can record any defects they find, these are immediately sent to site management so that remedial action can be carried out before any further work commences.

IoT wind speed and rain sensors

We can provide IoT sensors that can monitor wind speed, not only to tell you that a weather event has happened and triggering a re-inspection, but also to alert you with an early warning that wind speeds are increasing allowing you to take action to remove workers from the scaffolding and also secure it against the incoming weather event.
