HACCP AND COMMERCIAL KITCHEN MANAGEMENT

We have developed a HACCP management module for Tap n Act by Axsi, providing you with not only the power of our inspection system and RFID technology to ensure HACCP tasks are carried out, but also systems to manage and record all of your HACCP data, incident reporting, ingredient and food temperature tracking and more.

Place our RFID tags in specific areas of your venue, or attach them to equipment such as cookers, fridges and others. Tapping those tags with any mobile phone launches the Tap n Act app, and takes your staff into a wizard system to complete actions that you have defined to happen on a scheduled basis.

USES

The system has a specific module for HACCP, allowing you to digitally record all of the HACCP requirements. Within the application we have a library of pre-made templates which are useful for creating cleaning schedules for commercial kitchens. We recommend pre-service start-up schedules, post service and clean down schedules as well as schedules to cover your deep cleans.

  • Remote owners know cleaning schedules have been completed
  • Get alerted to missed schedules or failed checkpoints
  • Cleanliness of kitchens, front of house and public restrooms.
  • IoT Temperature monitoring of cold storage
  • RFID provides 100% assurance actions and tasks have been carried out.

INSPECTION SCHEDULES

The basic system allows you to schedule start and end of day procedures, regular cleaning as well as deep clean schedules within your commercial kitchen as well as your staff areas and front of house. Ensure that ALL tasks have been completed on-time everytime, no matter what they are. While cleaning is one aspect which is dealt with using Tap n Act, there are many others, how to deal with rubbish, when to open and close your restaurant, dealing with money floats, placing orders for fresh produce and more.

Schedules can happen hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly and can even be created as an adhoc inspection for the cleaning of your kitchens, food storage areas, front of house and restrooms. Those schedules can be used for opening, closing and deep clean activities that you want to ensure happens on a regular basis.

You can even allow your customers to tap tags in the public areas of your venue, to see your cleaning schedule and improve confidence in your venue.

The system is built to give alerts only when something is either missed (a schedule or an action on a schedule) or when a staff member carrying out an inspection flags an action as having a problem. As a business owner, you are alerted to what you need to know and when you need to take action yourself, while gathering the data for all completed actions automatically in the system for you to review when appropriate.

IoT Sensors monitor cold rooms , fridges and freezers

While the HACCP regulations state that you must take the temperatures of your cold storage twice a day, this is a manual task that may often get forgotten. Our IoT temperature sensor not only automates this, but it constantly monitors the temperatures, allowing us to give you an early warning about increases of temperature before it becomes an issue for the stored food.  This is a very simple but effective use of IoT technology which secures your business against losses of food due to cold storage failure or doors being left open.
