LOLER LIFTING AND RIGGING GEAR INSPECTIONS

Inspections of equipment used to lift or lower loads and their attachments such as anchoring points, are covered by LOLER, these include cranes, forklifts, hoists, lifts, work platforms where chains, slings, eyebolts and all other lifting gear must be inspected. Tap n Act from Axsi secures your LOLER requirements by attaching RFID tags to the equipment at the places where inspections must happen and asks the user to perform actions, take measurements and make inspections of that equipment on setup, pre-lift and post lift as well as reporting of any incidents that may occur.

USES

The system provides a secure method for ensuring that inspections happen, proof that they have been completed and secures the documentation within the cloud application for later reporting.

INSPECTION, ACTIONS AND MAINTENANCE TRACKING

While Tap n Act from Axsi has a series of LOLER templates, it is fully flexible for any competent examiner to create their own actions and inspections through our visual designer. Its advanced scheduling systems allow you to schedule the statutory 6 monthly inspections of your lifting gear, but also conduct the adhoc inspections after equipment is setup on site, before lifts and even after lifts have taken place. You will be alerted by the system when an inspection is due and you can manage those inspections through the cloud platform before conducting the inspection of the equipment by tapping each point with any mobile phone and completing the actions setout.

Record all of your measurements and inspection results in a paperless system, with data stored in the cloud for easy reporting as and when needed and create documentation for any maintenance or remedial actions for that equipment, keeping a detailed history of not only the inspections but also its use and maintenance.
